One of the hottest young Latin bands today, Miami-based Tiempo Libre is known for its imaginative, high-voltage Latin jazz, and the seductive hard-driving rhythms of their distinctive timba. They are true modern heirs to the rich tradition of the music of their native Cuba.
Tiempo Libre will conduct a Latin music workshop on Friday, January 26 from 3-4 pm the Cultural Arts Building, choral rehearsal room. Free and open to the public. For information and directions, call UNCW Presents at 910.962.7971.
