"Time to Deliver: Winning the Battle Against Poverty & Disease in the Developing World"
Canadian politician and diplomat Stephen Lewis explores the political, diplomatic and human rights dimensions of the AIDS crisis sweeping Africa. He forces us to think of the contest between human vulnerability and econometrics, sharing staggering statistics for the AIDS epidemic. He asks us what is the test of a decent society? Lewis is the former Canadian ambassador to the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF and was the UN Special Envoy on HIV/AIDS in Africa.
