SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The University of North Carolina will offer a $1000 talent award scholarship to one or more of the national winners. Please note admission to University of North Carolina Wilmington requires acceptance to the University as well as a supplemental application to the Department of Music. Offer of a talent award does not constitute a guarantee of admission.
FIRST ROUND PRIZE
First Round Prize: $300 cash award to first place winner of this First Round of the Competition. In addition, UNCW will also offer the top three winners of the First Round participation in a master class on Sunday, January 20 at 2pm, in preparation for the national competition in New York City. This class will be free and open to the public.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
Registration: 9:00 a.m. in the Cultural Arts building recital hall lobby
Competition: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m
Practice rooms are located on the first floor of the Cultural Arts Building. Signs will be posted to direct competitors to the practice studios.
