Counseling Center Film Series: Stay for a great conversation after the movie!
Felicity Huffman plays Bree, a pre-operative male-to-female transsexual. Just before the life-changing operation, Bree learns that she has a 17 year-old son who has been arrested and placed in detention in New York. After hearing this new information, Bree's psychiatrist forbids the surgery until Bree confronts her past by meeting her son. Bree flies to NY, buys a car, then takes her son on a cross-country ride to his step-father's house During the road trip, Bree tries to protect her secrets.
