When Bruce Wayne's parents are murdered in their home town of Gotham City, he decides, as an adult, to search for answers. Bruce escapes to the Far East for seven years and returns seven years later, promising himself that he will return peace and safety back to the city he loves. With a little help from his dutiful servant Alfred, Wayne develops his secret identity: Batman, a hooded warrior for justice. A wrench is thrown into Wayne's plans when he discovers that a mysterious psychiatrist has joined the city's unlawful underworld.
