The Wilmington Symphony is the focus, with Paul Hindemith's orchestral blockbuster Symphonic Metamorphosis and the Symphony No. 4 of Beethoven. Pre-concert commentary by conductor Steven Errante begins at 7:00 PM.
ABOUT THE CONDUCTOR
Dr. Steven Errante, conductor of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra since 1986, has had his compositions and arrangements recorded by the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra, the North Carolina Symphony, and the London Symphony. He has written a number of commissioned works and frequently makes orchestrations and arrangements to accompany WSO guest artists. He was recently chosen as the first composer commissioned for the Vanguard Premieres series sponsored by the Vanguard Voices choir.
Single tickets are $22 for First Reserved, $20 for Second Reserved and $4 for youth under 17.
