ABOUT THE STUDENT ARTIST
Pedro Esparza is a UNCW senior pursuing a Double Performance Degree in Classical and Jazz Saxophone. He is from New Bern, North Carolina, and went to New Bern High School where he studied under the direction of Alexander Williams. He has performed with the UNCW Wind Symphony, UNCW Big Band, UNCW Saxtet, Wilmington Symphony Orchestra, the Frank Bongiorno Quartet, the Andrew Thielen Big Band, and the Wilmington Big Band. He has performed for master class clinicians such as Jean Marie Londeix, Steve Pollock, and Eugene Rousseau. Mr. Esparza is a saxophone student of Dr. Frank Bongiorno.
