Film Studies Presents Avant-Garde Cinema
Avant-garde Cinema night will survey recent and historical short films by experimental filmmakers from around the world. The program will be curated and presented by students in FST 496: Senior Seminar in Contemporary Avant-garde Cinema. Highlights will include Four of Andy's Most BeautifulWomen by Andy Warhol, along withFluxus-style performances andmulti-media explorations presentedbymembers of the Wilmington Transmedia Collective.
At 9:20 p.m. experience the LiveCinema Explosion: Students in FST496: Contemporary Avant-Garde Cinema will combine live video mixing, film loops, slide collages, and other projected colors and images to create a 30 minute multimedia extravaganza.
