The Wilmington Concert Association presents Poland's national orchestra, the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. Celebrating its centenary in 2001, the Warsaw Philharmonic is one of the oldest musical institutions in Europe. Under the new Artistic Director Maestro Antoni Wit, the orchestra continues its rich history of musicianship, presenting over 80 symphony concerts per season and performing in the finest musical venues throughout the world. The Warsaw Philharmonic has made numerous recordings for Polish and foreign record companies and have won numerous awards and distinctions.
