Taking their name from a Mark Twain story, the Punch Brothers are made up of the most in-demand performers in the worlds of bluegrass, folk, and traditional music. Led by composer-singer-mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile of Nickel Creek fame, the group "expands the frontier of an emerging style of what might be called American country-classical chamber music," proclaims The New York Times.
