George Pocheptsov - World Renowned Artist
Born in 1992 to Ukrainian parents, child prodigy and world renowned artist, George Pocheptsov started to paint six months before he started to talk. Completely self taught, George is often compared by the press as a young Picasso or Chagall, and his paintings now sell for up to $100,000.00. But on an ordinary day, he is just like any other teenage boy- playing video games with his friends or finishing a math assignment he does not like. He has been commissioned to do paintings for Colin Powell, Celine Dion, Michael Jordan and Alan Ducasse. He was commissioned to do 3-D paintings for the Camera Museum in London and for the United Nations 60th Anniversary Show. The documentary film about George "Brush with Destiny" won an Emmy Award. Most recently he created the official commemorative art for the 62nd Annual North Carolina Azalea Festival.
