Frank Sinatra, an incomparable singer and icon, left an indelible mark on the 20th century music scene. His vocal interpretations by composers such as Jerome Kern, the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Johnny Mercer remain some of the best recordings in the great American songbook.
Bruschi pays tribute to Sinatra's musical career by examining how he continually reinvented himself as a singer and discussing some of his biggest recordings from 1939 to his retirement in 1995. He sings selected songs from Sinatra's big band era and solo career.
