Department of Music Honors Recital

Top students from UNCW’s Department of Music perform in a special Honors Recital at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 in Kenan Auditorium.

The students, chosen by audition one week prior to the event, will perform selections from their musical repertoire studied during the semester. Showcasing the most talented artists in voice, piano, strings, winds, and percussion instruments, the program is an eclectic evening of music ranging from the classical to the modern. The recital offers the rare opportunity for students to perform solo in front of a larger audience. It also offers the university and community at large a glimpse at the next generation of promising musicians.
