Cameron School of Business Hosts Annual Economic Outlook Conference Oct. 6

WILMINGTON, NC – The Cameron School of Business will host the second annual UNCW Economic Outlook Conference from 7:15 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 6 in Cameron Hall auditorium on the UNCW campus.
The conference will begin with a presentation by William “Woody” Hall, senior economist at UNCW and director of the university’s Center for Business and Economics Services. Hall will summarize the region’s economic activity for the first three quarters of 2005 as well as present his economic forecast for fourth quarter 2005 and calendar year 2006.
The program will also include three panel presentations featuring leaders in commercial development, homebuilding, manufacturing, retail, recreation and pharmaceutical drug development. Panelists will provide reflections and insights based on performance data from their respective industry sectors and their own personal business experiences.
