Carolina Ballet Rehearsals at UNC Wilmington Open to Public

The Raleigh-based Carolina Ballet has arrived at the University of North Carolina Wilmington to begin a month-long summer residency. The company will use its time in Wilmington to create new ballets for their repertoire. New works will be choreographed by artistic director Robert Weiss and principal guest choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett.
The company will open their rehearsals to the public from 4 to 6 p.m. July 15, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 17, 4 to 6 p.m. July 22 and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 24. All open rehearsals will be held at Kenan Auditorium on the UNCW campus.
Carolina Ballet's residency at UNCW also includes a summer intensive for young dancers. The program will culminate in three final performances at Kenan Auditorium, including an Aug. 2 World Premiere Gala. Tickets for the final performances are available through the Kenan Box Office at 910.962.3500.
