The "TEALgate" event begins at 5 p.m., with men's basketball coach Benny Moss as the featured speaker. Food, beverages and tailgate games are included in the TEALgate ticket price.

TEALgate tickets

In advance - $12 each for adults, $5 each for children ages 6-12 and free for children under 6 years old. Tickets can be purchased on the UNCW Alumni Association Web site at www.uncw.edu/alumni or by calling 800.596.2880.

At the door – A limited number will be available at $15 each for adults, $7 each for children ages 6-12 and free for children under 6 years old. Credit cards are not accepted at the door; cash or checks only are accepted the night of event.

Homecoming ticket packages

Advance packages include: TEALgate admission, men's basketball game ticket and UNCW tote bag. Costs per person are $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 6-12, $9 for children ages 2-6 and free for children under 2 years old. These packages will not be available at the door. Packages can be purchased in advance on the UNCW Alumni Association Web site at www.uncw.edu/alumni or by calling 800.596.2880.

Other Homecoming Events for Alumni and Friends

Homecoming Celebration – After the men's basketball game, the UNCW Alumni Association will host a Homecoming Celebration in Burney Center. The free event is open to all alumni and their families and includes food, refreshments and live entertainment. Attendees are required to register online for complimentary tickets.

2009 Alumni Association Awards Banquet & Scholarship Endowment Gala – Friday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Warwick Center. The 2009 Alumni, Citizen and Young Alumni of the Year will be honored. This black tie event is open to the community; the cost is $100 per person and proceeds benefit scholarships for students. Tickets can be purchased on the UNCW Alumni Association Web site at www.uncw.edu/alumni or by calling 800.596.2880.

Free receptions on Saturday, Jan. 31 for Cameron School of Business alumni, communication studies alumni, Watson School of Education alumni and nursing school alumni. The African American Graduate Association (AAGA), the class of 1959 and the class of 2004 are also hosting events on Jan. 31.

Homecoming Parade at 4:30 p.m., Jan. 31, after the receptions but prior to the TEALgate celebration and men's basketball game.
