Creative performances, music and cultural diversity united students and community at the World ACTion Festival held Thursday in the Burney Center and courtyard. The festival was the final event of the Synergy Common Reading program. Students showcased what they learned from this year's selection, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah.
